What is Included:

Venue:
1. Veritas Vineyard and Winery Venue on the chosen date of October 23, 2020
2. The maximum guest count is 150 guests
3. Ceremony start time may begin at 6:15 or 6:30
4. Arrivals. Patrons may arrive on the property no earlier than 11:00am on the day of the event. of the event may arrive no earlier than 6:00pm. Vendors are allowed set up in Saddleback Hall beginning at 12:00 PM on the day of the event.
5. Patron shall be responsible for any damage to the Winery’s real or personal property caused by the Patron, Patron’s guests, Function attendees, or independent contractors engaged by Patron.

7. Regulations. The Winery may, in its discretion, impose such regulations and monitor and exercise such control over the conduct of the Function attendees as it reasonably deems necessary, but shall have no liability whether or not it does so. The Winery shall abide by the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Laws and exercise responsibility in the serving of alcoholic beverages. The Winery reserves the right to stop serving alcoholic beverages to any guest who the Winery’s management or employee deems is intoxicated.
8. Load Out. Patrons may leave decor items overnight to then be picked up the next morning after the event. No items of value nor personal items are to be left on property and must be removed on the night of the event. Items left overnight must be picked up no later than 10:00am on the day after the event. There will be a charge, up to the Event Manger's discretion, applied for late pick up.
9. Force Majeure. The Winery and Patron (Parties) shall be excused from their performance under this Agreement to the extent that such performance is delayed or prevented (due to becoming inadvisable, commercially impracticable, or impossible to carry out) by causes beyond their control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, inclement weather conditions, acts or orders of governmental authorities, arrest or seizure under legal process, fire, flood, explosion, disease/medical epidemics or outbreaks, or strike of any kind.
10. Veritas Winery Special Events Department is comprised of a full time Chef, two Sous Chefs, a full time Line Chef, an Events Manager and an ABC Manager. Veritas Winery staffs its events from a pool of experienced service staff and bartenders.
11. The Event Manager is responsible for interfacing with the patron, and serves as the primary resource for the event. The manager may lend advice and recommendations. The Event Manager represents the Facility. The Event Manager will make any rain/backup plans by 3 PM on the day of the event.
12. Pertinent to the Function, they will provide the Patron with Sample Menus, Contract and an Event Plan. The manager will be responsible for scheduling a Tasting and will interface with the Chef. On the day of the Function, the manager will be responsible for the facilitation of the Event Plan. The manager is responsible for the ABC Manager, Wait Staff and Bartenders
Catering By Veritas Vineyard and Winery :
1. A tasting will be conducted 3-4 months prior to the wedding
2. Only items from the Sweepstakes Catering Menu are available
3. All food and beverages shall be supplied solely by the Winery. Exceptions for wedding cakes shall be made.
4. Any dietary restrictions are not guaranteed if not stated with final guest count given (14) days prior to the event.
5. The Chef is responsible for the kitchen support staff.
6. The Wait Staff are responsible for serving the food and wine and in meeting the needs of the guests in a courteous and professional manner. They are also responsible for providing set-up, breakdown and cleanup of the Function space.
7. The Captain is responsible for staffing the event with the number of people contracted by the patron (one server per 10-12 guests) and also for informing the staff of details of the Event Plan and maintaining standards of service. The Captain serves as a dining room manager. The Captain of Wait Staff is separate from the Event Manager.

Alcoholic Beverages:
1. Due to strict ABC laws and Veritas Vineyard and Winery license, the Winery cannot offer alcohol for free
2. Any wine, beer or liquor will be an add-on cost
3. The ABC manager is employed to meet the guidelines of ABC management. The ABC Manager will be introduced to the Patron at the beginning of the event as the personal liaison.
Photography:
1. Photography is provided by 3Cats Photo
2. One photographer from the 3Cats Photo team
3. Includes eight (8) hours of coverage
4. Coverage begins four and a half hours prior to the ceremony start time
5. Coverage time is from 1:30 PM until 9:30 PM
6. Upgrade for eight (8) hours to one second photographer will be a fee of $500.00
7. Upgrade for each additional hour of coverage will be a fee of $500.00 per hour
8. Images will be delivered within six (6) to eight (8) weeks
9. 3Cats Photography Owns the rights to share the images on social media platforms.
10. An add-on engagement session will be a fee of $500.00
Cake:
1. Cake is provided by Cakes by Rachel
2. Cake will feed up to sixty (60) guests
3. Design will be simple with a smooth or textured buttercream perfect for adding fresh flowers
4. More intricate design and kitchen cakes for serving the rest of the guests are available as an upgrade
5. This offer includes a tasting and design session
6. Flavors are not limited, however fresh fruit is an add-on
Lettering and Stationary:
1. Lettering will be provided by RachelLettering
2. The winner will receive up to $700.00 in signage design, signage calligraphy and signage illustration. This includes original design, including various illustration of the couples choosing for any sign.
3. RachelLettering will work with the winner to find the perfect medium of your choice, including wood, mirror, acrylic, canvas, fabric along with a plethora of other choices.
4. All calligraphy will be by hand, originally created by RachelLettering and one-of-a-kind
5. RachelLettering offers substitutes such as table runners, place cards, and a multitude of paper goods with this offer.
6. RachelLettering provides a free half-hour consultation to ensure the winner gets the ultimate experience.
7. Two proofs will be included for every project the winner shall decide upon.
8. Certain upgrade costs may apply, most likely will not be need.

11. The winner of this giveaway must provide RachelLettering with at least four weeks before event takes place. If less than four weeks advance, a rush fee or credit of rush fee may apply to the winners total credited amount.

6. Ceremony Arrangements: if the Veritas Arbor is used only either (2) Corner Arrangements OR (1) Corner Arrangement and (1) Tieback Arrangement and either (2) Wine Barrel Arrangements OR (8) Hanging or Swags as Ceremony Chair Decor, Small Bag of Ivory Petals to scatter down the aisle.
7. Reception Flowers: (1) Sweetheart Table arrangement or a Bridal Party Table which would reduce the number of Guest Tables.

9. Cake Flowers: Provided by Foxtail Cottage Floral
10. Foxtail Cottage will have more than usual control over the overall design to include kinds of Flowers that will be used.
11. This includes using vases, containers, lanterns, etc to be used.
12. Foxtail Cottage will also provide installation, take down, clean up, and pick up
13. Couple will receive (1) telephone or Skype consultation.
Makeup:
1. Makeup is provided by Jasmine Prittie of Prittie Face Makeup
2. The offer consists of makeup for the Bride and two members of the Bridal Party.
3. The offer contains a free makeup trial for the bride.
