Q. What are your hours?
A. Our hours are Monday
through Friday, 9:30
am to 5:30 pm
and Saturday and Sunday, 11:00
am to 5:00 pm. We are closed
on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
Q. How do we get there?

Q. Do you charge for tastings?
A. Yes, there is a $5 charge per flight
of wine. We offer three flights:
1) White wine flight: a taste
all white wines available for sale.
2) Red wine flight: a taste of
all red wines available for sale.
3) Showcase tasting (to be enjoyed
by the entire group): six of our favorite
Veritas wines, to include a sparkling wine, two
white wines, two red wines
and a dessert wine.
Q. Do you offer tours of the cellar?
A. Yes. We have tours by reservation (24
hours notice required) at 11:00
12:00, 1:00 and 2:00. This is a 20-minute walking tour which includes
the crush pad, the wine cellar, the barrel aging room and a discussion
of basic wine production.
Q. We have a group of 8 or more people. Do we need to make reservations?
A. Yes, we have a "winemaker's showcase tasting" for groups of 8 or more
which includes a tasting of six of our best wines and a tour.

Q. Can we taste your wines, buy multiple cases and drink a bottle on your
sun-drenched deck and not do a tour?
A. YES!
Q. Do you offer food?
A. Yes, there are two options. You can purchase
a cheese plate that can be
enjoyed in the mezzanine in the tasting room or outside on our beautiful
deck overlooking the vineyards and Blue Ridge Mountains (no reservations
necessary).
The cheese plate consists of 3 gourmet cheeses, homemade apple
chutney and warm
baguette. Or you can purchase a picnic lunch with or
without a tour and tasting.

Q. Can I bring a picnic?
A. Yes, you can bring your own food, but
it must be consumed outside of the
tasting room. We have ample picnic tables scattered
throughout our lawn
and in the
tree-shaded woods for your convenience.
Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. Yes, we invite you to bring dogs to the
property during normal business hours as long
as they are kept outside of the tasting room and remain on a leash, and are cleaned
up after when nature calls. Sorry, no dogs are allowed at our "Starry Nights"
summer
concert series.
We invite you to join our mailing list. We periodically send out emails regarding upcoming events, new wine releases, and our newsletters. We do not share your information with anyone outside Veritas and you can remove your name from the list by using the unsubscribe feature on any email we send out.
