Red Star 2008

This is the “Second Orbit” for Red Star and one of the most palate friendly and popular wines we have created at Veritas recent years. The 2008 vintage Red Star is light bodied and aromatic, practically jumping out of the glass with ripe fruit tones. A blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Chambourcin create a myriad of red fruits such as cherry, raspberry, strawberry and hints of red currant. Red Star is a perfect red wine to pair with light red meats or game birds or simply enjoyed on the front porch in the summer. Best enjoyed in it youth 1-3 years after vintage.
