Merlot 2008

Ruby red in color, our 2008 Merlot has a soft and embracing bouquet fragrant with black cherries and blackberry which are softened with hints of caramel and vanilla. Easy to drink and medium-bodied, the mouth feel is full as layers of red and black fruit unfold. The soft tannins offer structure and beautiful mouth feel which linger to a black pepper nuance on the finish. The wine pairs beautifully with any red meat, salmon, and yes, even pasta dishes with marinara sauce
